You know with all those composers listed, some might just be for the orchestrated versions. I know that that was the case for MM9. I agree with tssf, I think the majority of the songs were not done by the same people as MM9. Perhaps it was the guys that did the music for the 6, 7 and 8 sequels and that's why it missed the mark?

I'd definitely like to be proven wrong on this, but I seriously don't think that this is the case here with Mega Man 10. In Mega Man 9, the composers for the arranged soundtrack were not listed in the credits, mainly because it was just arrangements of music already composed by someone else.

But here, in Mega Man 10, twelve different composers are listed in the credits, with no seperate arrange soundtrack in sight(apart from the Inti bonus CD's title arrangement version). These look to be all of the composers for this one game. Granted, most of them have probably only composed one, maybe two songs each. We're going to have to wait for the soundtrack's release to be sure.

Well, I originally said I wasn't going to work on an NSF but I kinda changed my mind. At least for now.. I've got a few songs remade, and the entire soundtrack's instrument set remade too (some need a bit of work)

Anyway I'll post an NSF once I finish a few boss level songs. All the intros / Title screen / main menu / etc are done though.

Awesome, I'd love to see what you come up with. I'm still struggling with Wily Stage 3 (the last half frame is wrecking havoc with my brain). Maybe seeing what you complete will help me if I don't finish by the time you post yours?

Hey, it sounds as if the music has grown on you a bit to change your mind about working on an NSF. There are some good songs on the soundtrack, and on its own, it's a great 8-bit soundtrack(save for the game over song and pieces of Solar Man's melody).
But when you consider it as a Mega Man soundtrack, which it is, I'd have to rank it low when compared to the other games. There's too many non-Mega Man sounds going on in most of the songs.

I will say that the Wily Machine song is one of the best, though.

I waited until the game is released before hearing the soundtrack and boy was I disappointed. Most song are not memorable and the one I did remember I would like to forget (Solar man, especially the part which does some appregio/harp whatever). The one I liked the most was Willy stage first part but it didn't feel that much like a mega man song thought.

The game felt rushed, especially for the music and ending. As for the end, since I played in Japanese I missed a few part of the dialog. There is one part about the end that I'm curious if I understood properly but nobody mentioned about it do I may not want to mention since it could be a huge spoiler if I understood it properly.
