Ever since I heard Raijin's cover of this badass track I wanted to cover it. After asking Raijin about it in the IRC a few weeks ago I started working on it.
His version is clearly lacking in quite a few regards, as his cover is mostly based on the Genesis version while I based mine on the original PC Engine version. I did take some parts that I liked from Raijin's module and incorporated them. I am not saying that my module is perfect. It is definitely not.
This is my most ambitious cover to date, but there is a somewhat annoying issue which I did not realise was such a big deal until Raijin pointed it out. The way I did speed and tempo makes it so that some notes will not sync up properly. A solution to this would be to readjust everything(!) in the module to speed 3 instead, which of course would take a whole lot of time and be very tedious. I might do it, depending on how many find it annoying.
Oh well, enjoy the awesomeness that is Devil Crash - Main Table!
By the way, DPCM is for pussies!
Give me some feedback, why don't ya'?
EDIT: Fixed the animation somewhat. Reuploaded.

Excellent cover of an excellent track, although I did feel the bass was a little low. I've only ever played the Genesis version, too, so parts of it weren't exactly what I was expecting.
I have to ask, is it supposed to glitch out like that at frame 53? When I hit that point, it starts rapidly flipping through patterns, there's red "no instrument" indicators everywhere, random effect codes, and some hanging notes, and then it gets back on track at 7E. It's a neat effect, playing around with the visual aspect of the tracker, and it scared me a bit when I first saw it, but I'd surprised if you did it on purpose. I assumed my download was corrupted but I re-downloaded a few times and nothing happened. I'll attach a pic if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

Hmmm.... The bass sounds fine to me. Maybe it is my headphones that boost the bass a bit extra. I could increase the volume of the bass if it is bothering you. The Mega Drive version, although covered by a fantastic composer, is insuperior to the original PC98 version. The Mega Drive cover just lacks some of the awesome features that the PC98 original has.
Hahahaha! That ending is completely on purpose. If you watch closely you'll see some things that clearly could not have randomly been made if the .ftm got corrupted. I wanted to do something fun to end the song with so I messed around with some pattern "animation". I don't think there are any hanging notes, it is very hard to keep track of what is going on. It might be a bit fast but that is what I get for making the track at this speed. I did notice a few timing errors in it, which I've now fixed.
