Hi there!

Now that everyone is starting his own thread for his stuff, I think I'll join in on the trend

Let's just see how long this is going to stay active around here (^.^)"

If you've read any of my posts regarding video game bosses, you probably know I really like mad scientists in videogames.
I also wanted to do something of big scale with multichip for quite some time now.
So, I dug out my old cover of Dr. Neo Cortex final boss theme from Crash Bandicoot 1 and got to work.

Thanks @ Ontax for helping me out with the background melodies

While I don't think it turned out perfectly (especially the second part), I still hope it's enjoyable

So ... now that I've made my own thread, I'll just post everything I've done up until now. I've reworked many of these covers slightly and even made major fixes on some of them, but didn't really want to bump old threads for such fixes.

So, here's every cover I've created so far. Sadly, I can't recall all the MIDI sources I've used ... if you'd like to know one of them, I can search for it.

Another Obélix GBC Cover: Helvetia [Swiss] Act 2, using Konami VRC6.

I'd love to hear a little feedback.
Enjoy

It's not very difficult to tell which ones are newer and more polished, you're definitely better at it than I was as a beginner! I really like how realistic you made the orchestra hits with just two pulse channels.

Another one from Mario & Luigi Partners in Time: "Thwomp Cavern" using VRC6.
Had this one lying around unfinished for quite a while - got around finishing it finally. Still - not cleaned up perfectly ^^

I'd love to hear a little feedback
Have a nice day and Enjoy!

Drain Slap Bass that is used to cover songs of "Great Mighty Poo" that you are making was completed,
but please try to also refer to the "Gradius Ned-Mix Slap Bass" that has the same tone of the drain of another.
For those there, you can use the octave up to C2 ~ E5 (5-samples).

Hey, thanks a lot for those instruments!
I'll get around finishing everything up when I've got time, but right now I'm not in the mood for the Great Mighty Poo.

But, I've created another cover - maybe my best yet. I've put a lot of work and polish into this track and tried to make it sound as good as possible. Not sure if my volume balancing is less awful this time around, but this is generally my weakest point. [url=http://crashmidifiles.jimdo.com/pagina-2/]MIDI I covered off by JexuBandicoot527.

Also, you can export an NSF and pan the 2a03 Pulses left and right to create a neat stereo effect

I'd live to hear a little feedback.
Thank you and have a good day
- Alex

*mutters obscenities as he was planning to cover this*

Straight from the start of that FTM I knew which MIDI you'd used. It's a bit inaccurate, but that's the MIDI's fault, not yours.

still going to do my own cover of it mumble grumble

This is really good, however! I hope you keep up this style and its level of quality!

Well ... sorry, I guess :-/ ... good luck with your cover

Also, thanks! :D I'll try and keep creating remixes of such quality, although they need to be polished just about as long as it takes to initially track them ... there's always something to improve upon.

I was joking about being angry. I don't see problems in covering things other people have already covered, so I'm not too fussed (negatively) about this. :P

Alright, something small inbetween. The mad, overlooked genius - Dr. Nitrus Brio and his tune from the very first Crash Bandicoot game
