So, last weekend I went to a retro computer event (called DoReCo) and there, I finally met a good friend and fellow Famitracker musician from the internet in person for the first time.
Now what to do? Why, create music of course!
The most popular system of the event is always the Commodore 64, so we tried and pay a hommage to the system and it's games and music with Famitracker using the VRC6.
My friend composed and covered while I supplied the instruments and effects.
We hope you like this song and would love to hear a little feedback
Thank you and have a nice day
- Alex and friend

This is so great. Catchy, intense, and a great throwback to the C64.

Unless you'd like to keep it private, who'd you meet?

Why can't I come up with a creative signature?
Tracking must've stripped me clean of creative ideas.

Either way, here's my YouTube channel: [url=http://www.youtube.com/littlelamp100]http://www.youtube.com/littlelamp100
He isn't in the FT Forum (yet), but I know him through skype. I built him a DuoSID-board and modded his Commodore 64. Afterwards, I introduced him to Famitracker and he was amazed immediately
When we're working together, I supply the instruments while he's working on the melody.
By the way, this track you see up there was done within 24 hours. ^^
About the song in the thread, I didn't really get into detail about it. it. It's good, but he mixing could be a little better. It's a bit loud, but the main issue is that everything seems to be vying for attention at the same time.
Yep. We started composing some random stuff, and then my friend just began typing in the Great Giana Sisters theme. So, we decided and make this a classic compilation and a celebration ebtween Nintendo and Commodore. Luckily, some people had a SD to C64 adaptor and we could listen to classic tunes and cover them.
By the way, I'll try and rebalance the tracks a little, but it's pretty convoluted :-/
