No, aside from using an expansion chip such as the VRC6. FamiTracker sticks to emulating real NES hardware. (You can add an expansion chip by going to Module->Module Properties.)

Well, there are tons of places to get samples on the 'net, but you'll have to convert them from WAV or maybe even a format like XI. For pre-made DPCM samples, I don't know of any such places, but I've never looked for them.

I'm pretty sure FamiTracker doesn't have a plugin system.
thank you very much, im a bit cinfused with the sawtooth and square channel, i understand it a little bit, but you you have any pointers? the thing thats chocking me i guess is making instruments for it. do i really have to wright everything for it rather then use something pre generated for it?
and one more thing, what would i use to convert wav to dpcm?
famitracker will convert wavs to dmc as you import them (check the DPCM tag in a 2a03 instrument.) as for the vrc6 channels, they are a little different to the usual channels but not considerably. duty (Vxx) is the only significantly different thing. just explore it, you'll figure it out.
you only need to get as complex with your instrument creation as you require. it's possible to make entire songs with just one blank instrument if you're happy programming everything directly in the patterns. or you can make tonnes of instruments and trigger them in the patterns and make little use of the volume/effects columns. i find a mix of the two works best most of the time. i hope this isn't just confusing you more though! i was kind of confused by your question, to be honest.
