Just how awesome wouldn't this be? A cartridge with built-in modem connection and download-play functionality. And this would be the theme song.

Transcribed by my ear and arranged by me, this is an 8-bit arrangement of the addictive Wii Shop Channel theme. Everything might not be 100% authentic, as always, but I liked how it turned out. It's always nice when a 2A03 song sounds great to listen to on its own.
Thanks for listening! Feedback is always appreciated!

Yes, it's amazing how well that song translates to chiptune format.

Nice cover, though.

Actually, the bottom expansion connector of the NES was originally meant to accomodate a dial-up modem. But, sadly, Nintendo Of America didn[t have the same priorities as Japan.

So, stumbled upon this and had to add this to it. I probably posted this to the forum a LONG time ago, but I feel it's relevant enough to post again. We just need some 8-bit artists to come up with (fake) screenshots now xD
