Who has played this game? "Obélix" for the Gameboy (and Gameboy Color).
No one? That's really sad, I personally think it's really a gem fot the system. The graphics were amazing and the animation looked like it came right out of the comic books (or movies, whatever).
The music is a Eurostyle-goodnes composed by Alberto Gonzalez. My favourite track was the "Dungeon" - it's really up-beat and could be considered the "Boss Theme", although there are nrear to no bosses in this game.
Anyways, I tried and improve upon the original by giving it a VRC6 treatment. I took the notes and parts of the instrumentations through GbsImport. I think it turned out pretty fine. I also gave the whole thing a strong echo to underline the "Dungeon"-feeling. Not sure if that works :-/
Anyways, I think I'll be working on more tracks from this game in the future. They're really damn good!
