It's a eargasmic remix.

No DPCM. No Konami style either. Just some Master Systemish drumming, telling Sunsoft's bass to shut up, and using squares as drums. And yes, this is based off both the American (Bass) and Japanese (everything else) versions.

Oh, and LOTS of channel usage. And slightly bad mixing. But, you be the judge.

EDIT: And again I manage to screw up Pxx consistency.

EDIT: As well as volume consistency.

Yeah, the mixing isn't too good but it isn't bad either. Everything else is fine, so good job.

Frames 03 and 04 feel like they're lacking percussion. Is this by design?

I always felt that in the japanese version the bass was one octave too high during most of the song.

Yes, I meant to decrease the percussion so that it's faithful to the original.

I do agree with you on the bass. I originally intended to cover the American version, which is how the triangle got its patterns in the first frame. Then I wanted to make it more faithful, so I went for the Japanese. I also realised that the bass was one octave higher, but I didn't want to take away the bass so I kept it the American way.

Now I notice that the percussions do get softer on that part. There seem to be some kick samples in there though but they're not too noticeable.

I think the high bass ruins the whole song in the Japanese version. Glad you didn't make it like that.
