I am having a hard time coming up with my own stuff. So, this thread is dedicated to doodles or compositions that you can pick up and give criticism to help me become some sort of composer, I guess. Or you can also leave some of these songs if you don't like them. You are free to edit whatever is on this thread and post it if you would like to join me in making music.
From now on, WIPs will belong here. I may also post doodles that I may not like, so you can edit them and change my mind if I may not like the idea of posting it.
I was thinking of making a song known as Sandstorm Man where the starting melody was the main melody of Darude Sandstorm (that's not even a worthy composition if you ask me.) But i thought that the main melody sounded so crappy that it wasn't worth it at all. I may think of deviate the melody from the original so it could be worth it. But you be the judge of the idea.

About the doodle - it's a nice little melody. A slow, sustained bass would fit, I think. Maybe the theme that pops up when I'm in the basement and there's a spider, but I don't exactly know where it went ...

After hearing this song for the second time as I watched the Virtual Console trailer, I decided to make a Konami VRC7 cover of it. But screw DPCM. SMS PSG drums is one of the ways to go. So is extensive use of the 2A03.
Am I allowed to make my sneak peeks as one-frames? After all this is a minor thread of my own.

Well, it's been a long time since I last made an actual track on FamiTracker. I have been busy from school and got absorbed into other things. But I guess I am still into music. Ugghhh... don't feel like writing.

EDIT: Found the issue and fixed it. Still need some feedback.

Aquarium Park for Sonic Colours. Surprised nobody guessed this before me.
I think that the intro feels a bit weak, mainly when the drums kick in. I increased the volume of the drums, added a triangle backup for the drums and added a minor bass addition, as I felt that made the intro feel much nicer.
Although, it should be stated that I'm not the best with music and you should probably trust what you think over what I think
The triangle drum sounds like a good suggestion to make the song feel more alive. As for the drums being too low, I guess should be more careful with volume control.
So I decided to switch from VRC7 to N163. I felt that the VRC7 was too limited for this track. Right now it needs some volume fixing. And some note editing.

Funny enough, I've also been working on an N163 cover of Aquarium Park. Since this is YOUR thread, though, I'll refrain from posting it. Besides, I haven't gotten as far as you have, and what you have sounds really good.

Alrighty, then. I did some last minute edits, but it's mostly the same. The only real difference is the intro DPCM, I added some extra kicks w/Yxx because of how the original song goes.
i'm really liking it Bari10, but there were some notes which where wrong (i've listened to the song so many times that i know most of the notes) so i decided to fix them (but also finish it off) Hope u like it
