I like the triangle clave trick. I might have to use that now.

Rocket Knight Adventures!
Figured I'd post this now, it's not done but I thought it would be a good place to stop. Not sure if I'll get it done today (I'm really busy today), but I will probably finish it over the weekend.
This is my first attempt at multi-chip! I'm trying my hardest to recreate the original Sega Genesis masterpiece. Not an easy task.
I'd love some feedback on this. It's really taking forever, and I hope that the work pays off in the end.
BTW, don't play this in UberTracker please.

marry me already

This is an amazing cover of the original track from a great game! Are you sure you didn't just take a .wav of the original?

if you do all the other tracks you will be a god to me

My. Goodness.

That really sounds great! My problem is that I either have too many or not enough channels (the second more than the first :-/ ), but your track fits into the multichip (MMC5 + VRC6 I assume) like hand in glove. Or fist into face, that's a matter of perspective :D

@MrKyurem Isn't he already a god? Oh well, LvL Jesus is already established, but a task of a god would be to cover "Sonic Lost World - Dr. Eggman Showdown". An 8 Bit cover has yet rise from the ground.
By the way, a friend of mine and I are trying to get this song done through a 6 x N163, but we're kind of struggling because we can only use a wavelength of 16 due to N163 memory limitations. If you could PM me, it would be great if you might help us a little with the instruments

Love this one. One of my favorite games, and one of the first carts I picked up for my Genesis, and the transcription and instruments are just perfect. If only NES had support for stereo; those chords that come in on the left and right are sorely missed.

Thanks so much, everybody! *starts to blush*

Woah, didn't see that coming! Good thing this isn't on a popular YouTube video, or there would probably be a HUGE religous debait over whether God is real or not...

I'll finish the RKA cover most likely tomorrow. Sorry, plz don't hate. I have a life too.
I tried to make up for it, though. This little ditty seemed to have so much potential, but never really stood out to anybody. I think it made a nice beat.
And if you're wondering about the PXX effects, I put those there because NSF Import told me to.

I actually really liked the SMB3 individual world themes, especially worlds 3, 4, 6, and 7. I'll probably make a VRC6 giganto-mix thing of the worlds once I find enough inspiration.

Anyways, glad that someone else is a fan =)

Moar Mario.
This is a sort of mix between the SMB1 and SMB3 underground themes. If it looks like it didn't take long... exactly. I'm really running short on time. School is really starting to drive me crazy.
I hope you enjoy it, anyway!

Nice little remix ^^

Yeah, I know that feel. Attending university isn't much better in that regard
Anyways, it seemed to me that Pulse 1 was just dangling there unfufilled ... so I just typed in a bunch of notes here and there ^^
Plus, I silenced the Hihat a little. It gets eargrating after a while at such volume.

Nice edit.
I know this is a cover thread, but I didn't know where else to put this.
Most of you people probably never think of how hard it is to grow up around all of these new trends nowadays. It gets kinda overwhelming, especially when combined with school, and the typical teenage feeling of "Why do I matter?"
So I made this.
Should I enter this into something? No, it's not good enough. I wish I were more talented...

I was dead for over a month.
BUT I'M BACK! ^o^
Probably only for this week. I have way too much schoolwork...
How exactly do you get a cover of a drum & bass song in the style of Mega Man 5 to sound decent?
This is how.
I know the ending sounds strange, but it was the best I could do.
Oh, BTW, please play the Mighty Switch Force games if you haven't yet. They're really fun.

You're back! -^O^-
Mighty Switch Force, you say? I saw it on the WiiU eShop but ... I don't actually know anything about it.
And even trough I don't know the original song, this sounds pretty good. I like the way the twinkle sounds. Also, pretty neat lead
Nailed the MM5 style perfectly.
