Wow I've found myself looking through all the instruments just to see how it's done. I noticed that on some of the instruments there's just a volume envelope and yet it generates a resemblance of two pitches. I didn't know you could do that!
Well that comes from the 400hz clock speed. It plays the volume envelope so fast, it actually resembles the square oscillation that the chip does by default. I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The main melody sounds a lot like a silver surfer medley remix, which is NOT a bad thing by any means. But i'm guessing that was the inspiration? correct me if i'm wrong. Your song stands alone on it's own, however, very very good work

There is a lot of Follin inspiration going on in here, but most of the melody was inspired by Geoff Follin's soundtrack to Thomas the Tank Engine on NES.

In a way, yes. Once the clock speed gets high enough, you can create a second waveform out of the volume column. The best you're going to get from the 200-800 Hz range are pulse waves. Once you get to about 6-8 kHz, you can start using the volume column to simulate PCM.
I suggest checking out this video to hear some really batshit insane stuff that you can do with just one pulse wave and overclocking.
