Regret, a song for a late-game sequence which I'm not going to spoil. In this song I use the DPCM channel to sample, among other things, Jason Robards' regret monologue from the movie Magnolia and the chord from that one Swans song which repeats the same goddamn chord 800000 times. This is probably the best and most ambitious song I've made with Famitracker to date. (I made a separate thread for it but no one replied ;_____; )
Metro, a song for the level which takes place in the ... ... ... metro. I decided to go in a different direction than the WIP I posted earlier. Pretty fast-paced and gets the job done well.
Underwater, a WIP song for an autoscrolling level (so the level is in sync with the music). I made this and "Regret" after listening to a lot of post-rock.
Also, in case you aren't following the Tumblr, Twitter, or TIGS thread lol, we're now aiming for a Kickstarter launch in mid-January. I'll probably more about that in this thread as that time approaches.

So we have a SoundCloud now, with all the completed tracks of the OST in one place. And we also have a tentative date + amount for our Kickstarter: January 19th, for $8,000.
And so this post isn't just me shilling my game, here are also two tracks: the tentative theme music for a trailer we're making, and a very WIP song for a temple level (right after the underwater one).
Temple, a new track for a dark and creepy level later in the game where eyes watch you from the shadows. I'm pretty proud of this one, it's my second favorite track I've made for the game behind Regret.
As always, any criticism and feedback are welcome!
Both of those links link to this page, btw. Or they do on my end, at least.
Cool-looking game, though.

Even if you can't back the project, I'd really appreciate any support you could give us! One easy thing would be to retweet our project announcement on Twitter: https://twitter.com/SteelAssault/status/557219343013257216 The main issue we face right now is lack of exposure, so getting the word out is crucial for us.
And of course, any feedback and criticism is always welcome!
Hey what's up, how've you been? I heard some of the Sonic Thrash soundtrack on SoundCloud the other day, it sounds fantastic.
I'm doing well! I'd have thrown something to the Kickstarter but I'm a bit broke having bought a guitar last month. :P And thanks for the compliment! My work seems to have landed me into a role on another hack project that I looked up to back in 2009 when it landed, you may know of it, haha. Maybe the drum samples I use blatantly will be a good hint haha
Good luck with the game, by the way! It looks excellent.
