hey guys, just wondering if theres a way to assign instruments to tracks, because it seems to me that currently im making three instruments (bass, rhythm, lead) and all of the tracks are playing on the instrument that i highlight in the intrument box
sorry for being a noob :P

that's correct, the way tracking works is that instruments are assigned on a per-event basis rather than per-channel basis (typically), which is one of the major differences in workflow when compared to DAWs. when you get used to it, it allows for greater flexibility.

if you just want one instrument per channel though, you could add the desired instrument number(s) on the first row in the first pattern, and delete all subsequent instrument numbers.

okyeah i think i get it. so the numbers to the irhgt of the notes represent what instrument is being used???
