Is any sort of clipping behaviour noticed in a VRC7 instrument which consists of FM noise with an ASDR envelope that decreases volume from original to 0 when I use a volume higher than C?

If you post an instrument or a short NSF loop, I can test it on hardware when I get back home on Sunday. That way we'll know for sure whether the clipping you're getting is meant to occur or not.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render.

Right now I can only provide a link to an FTM file where such an instrument is used (it's the instrument named 'Cymbals') because I am in a hotel and my laptop is at home. Remember that I want to check volume F, not C.

Okay, here's a better NSF that should test the possibility of clipping.
