So, I decided to try and get into Famitracker, finally. Using Danooct1's tutorial, I managed to cover Kraid's theme pretty decently. I then used that same format to try and cover Norfair on the same FTM.

There are definitely some inaccuracies, and the instruments aren't exact, but I put my best effort into the Norfair cover. It's completely by ear as well, no tutorial or anything helping me.

I would like critique on the Square 2 channel in the last two frames and my instrument creation. I'd really like to refine that.

A cover does not have to get everything right. Just as long as it sounds good

Yeah, I know.

I made some refinements to the cover, and I also started Brinstar... it's not finished though, so be gentle.

(As you can see I was also attempting to cover Bloody Tears... I'll probably finish the Brinstar cover first though.)

Look at song 4&5 (I fixed the intro to Bloody Tears for you but did it on a higher speed) and 5 is an example of both vibrato and speed settings (sorry if they aren't accurate to Metroid) It's important to learn how to do stuff at higher speeds as it will really speed up work flow and allow you to
do more.

I also fixed a few sour notes in Brinstar and fixed the triplet in your "Arp 1" instrument. Otherwise the module is untouched.

Keep on improving!

Thanks for the edit. It does sound a bit better now. I'll keep in mind what you said about higher speeds, but it seems staying between 4-8 for speeds works well for me.

Aww, man, you started brinstar...

But it sounded great...

Anyway, yeah, great job on these, these really sound accurate. Particularly Kraid, to me. However, on Brinstar, the beginning pulse 2 is a bit quiet, and it needs to be a bit more... staccato...
