I suddenly got an impulse to cover this...

Hope you all enjoy it.

EDIT: Increased the volume of an instrument and fixed a tiny mistake that nobody would have noticed.

EDIT2: Removed an unused instrument.

EDIT3: Moved the square wave from wave slot 120 to wave slot 64, as to keep things organized.

I love what you did with the pulse channels!
I never thought of using them that way.

Very impressed by the simulated FM bass instrument. One of the most creative uses of wave cycling I've seen.

This is super!

That FM Bass is a great N163 instrument!
If you put the wave sequences on FM Bass backwards, it sounds like a fretless bass. :o (If you exclude wave 7.)

Paging icesoldier.

Amazing job on this. Very creative use of the 2A03 pulses, as mentioned higher up in the comments.

I'll make sure I remember to record this on my Famicom when I get a chance (probably some time next week).

Thanks, everyone!
It seems like it paid off to use the 2A03 almost exclusively for percussion...

What a great track. I have nothing to add save that the bass channel is a tad soft to my ears, though to be fair the original gives me a similar impression (the bassline has some nice figures and I find it hard to hear them most of the time).

Absolutely great. The 2A03 percussion really helps with making it sound like SoR. Also feel obligated to comment on that cool bass instrument, fantastic stuff.

This bump reminds me I never actually mentioned the [url=http://www.mediafire.com/download/1dn8c11xt8xvmv8/moviemovies1_dreamer.flac]hardware render I made of this. So there. Done.

Enjoy!
