First I have to say I love all the additions to the DPCM editor in 0.4.3 and the crash fix as well when playing the sample in the editor multiple times.
And once I started playing around with shorter samples and the zoom function, it occured to me. You can see the individual steps perfectly, why not let us change the sample bit by bit? You could drag each sample up or down, and it would be easy to eliminate imperfections this way without hex editing it more.
