I did #3 within 45 min and #4 in about 30 min ... but THIS track gets on my nerves to no end.

What am I doing wrong ... help?

The gaps in between each section are too short. I'd change it for you but I'm really tired :p

Fixed it for you, the ending is a little iffy though, someone can fix that if they want to. Also fixed the transition between 2 and 3 to sound a bit smoother.

HOLY. I leave for two days and the place blows up! O_o
Not that I'm complaining.
Anyways, I really like the idea that Alexander283 had. You guys did a GREAT job!
I tried to help out as much as I can on this. It's been changed it to my own Mega Man 3-ish style (not that I don't appreciate what you've done already ).
What do you all think?

EDIT: Darn, took out instrument 8. *derps*
Could somebody please add it back in? I'd really appreciate it.

No prob, #8 was just the Drum repeated 3 times and only used by me in "Tension Rising".

By the way, what is your opinion on "Tensnion Rising"?

Oh, and also, the percusion in the MM4-part of R-R-Rematch sounds a little off. It should be one noise pitch played snare-noise-snare-noise. Maybe listen to the original again?
I'll suggest a fix-up later, can't track anything right now.

Oh, I forgot - all of your other edits sound great :D
Makes it more of an action-style and it blends in better with itself and the other songs in this soundtrack.
Keep going, we're still missing 5 and 6 (at least).
I don't know if 7 and 8 would be translatable and I'm not sure if 9 and 10 shoult be considered "classics". Or if Megaman & Bass exists :D.
So the question is wether we should only do 1 - 6 and invest more time into other tracks or should we really do all tracks.

I'll try to do 5-6, and we'll see what happens. I've already done Mega Man 5 on PC Engine/TG16 (it's close to the bottom of the page ), so that'll be easy to transpose.
Also, this. I knew I'd heard it somewhere in Mega Man 3. I like your version better, but I don't know what you used the Pxx and Gxx effects for. I removed the Gxx effects, I hope you don't mind. That being said, this one sounds much more tense than the original, and like I'm waiting for a TRULY epic boss fight!
In other words, great job.
Also, fixed up the Mega Man IV drums. I'm not really going for accuracy on this, just a remix.

EDIT: OH SNAP NOT AGAIN here you go

... seeing it afterwards, why DID I use Gxx there? O_o
Anyways, I'm glad you like it
Plus - finally somebody recognized that bloody theme!

The Pxx effect sets the fine pitch (P80 is standart, so P7F = Pitch - 1 and P81 = Pitch + 1) and I try and create a little more depth and variety with it - i.e the ending of the intro, I've created a "double vibrato" with 4xx and a vibrating fine pitch. And the echoes on Pulse 1 sound a little off to the original note thanks to Pxx.

So, I was just trying and do Megaman 5 in R-R-Rematch, then I refreshed the page and read your post ^^
I'll just post what I've done up until now. Plus I made a fix on the MM2 part - one note was missing. See if you can spot it ^v^

I spotted it- it's a second twinkle note.
I can't hear that in the original. I do like it, though.

Oh, you're right. It isn't as loud as the first twinkle note, but I think it has to be there

Another thing.

This Album is now a full-grown thing. And what is an Album without a cover? ... Well, still an Album, but you get the idea ^^

Yesterday before going to bed, I drew a little sketch. Today, I shaded it (just a little) and then I thought "Huh, that might as well be part of a bigger picture".

So yeah, just a small sketch here, but if you want, I could try and think what your robot masters might look like. If you've already got an idea what they're supposed to look like, please let me know :D

I don't know really, I've kind of got a picture of what they look like.
Groove Man could be some sort of 70s bass player with a sound so bassy that it rumbles the insides of the opponent, damaging them. Make him look as funky as possible.
Cash Man could be... a dollar bill. Or a euro. Or whatever. Some sort of long, green, skinny paper that rolls coins on the ground quickly enough to make it lethal, almost like search snake.
Wizard Man... umm... make him what you want, I guess.
Toxic Man could be some sort of bucket of sludge that reaches inside of himself and throws the toxic waste as an attack.
Rubber Man could be... well, a rubber band. He could pull back on his body and let go to do a sort of lasso attack.
Karate Man could be a... karate man... do what you want with this one too.
Inferno Man could be a walking furnace that heats up and shoots fireballs that look like flaming comets.
Echo Woman could be a woman in a navy dress who shoots sound waves that "echo" off the walls, kind of like the Gamini Laser.
These are just ideas, and you don't have to draw them, but as you can see from my profile pic, my drawing skills are sub-par compared to yours. That was just a sketch and it already looks better than anything I invest a whole day into.
Also, some minor edits, and a new start on Mega Man 5 boss theme, if you don't mind.

Huh - you tend to do some double-posts. Maybe press the "Post"-Button a bit slower?

Oh course I don't mind you starting MM5 Boss over - it's your project and my cover started out terrible anyways ^^
Everyone has their share of talent - I'd sacrifice things you don't want to know about to compose and remix music the way you do!

I've made another sketch in about 20 minutes (with an advertising pencil and a rollerball pen, so it looks rather horrifying) how I imagine Toxic Man. I don't really like them being too literal, i.e. a bucket of sludge. Basiclly, I want to avoid taking the first object within my reach and slapping googly eyes onto it. I'll try and make them look like classic Megaman Bosses.

I'll continue and do a bigger, colored version of him if you'd approve his design. Sadly, I can't find my damn SD card and I'll have to find it first to take a photo of it
You'll probably have a picture by tomorrow. Just keep the music coming, I'm so hyped for the Wily Stages ^O^

Also, I've got an idea for Wizard Man ... although it might be rather stupid.
Basically, I'd take the design of Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario and make him look more like a wizard (maybe with a moustache ... ? And no monocole) and replace his vest you see when he opens his cape with a motherboard. Also, the inner side of his cape will be made out of circutry.
... not sure through, it just looks a off when sketching it ...

Oh, and a little tip:
Use the Mode-P-Noise at least in one track. Almost every Megaman has had its one track filled with periodic noise :D (MM1 Fireman, MM2 Quickman, ...)

EDIT: WHAT THE HELL? This is my 100th post ... wow! I'm just 24 days in and already a hundred ... that's a surprise O_o

Yeah, I seem to have forgotten about Mode-P noise.
I'm not a very creative visual artist, so do what you want. I do like the idea of Wizard Man.
Also, I don't know why I keep double posting. I am using internet at a hotel, so that might be doing something.
Congrats on the hundred posts!
