Maybe Mega Man 11 can be like Mega Man 8, the one that nobody likes to remember (except I kind of liked 8 :P).
JK, the only things really wrong with Mega Man 11 were that it wasn't Mega Man-y and it was too short (plus technical problems like volume).

In comes Mega Man 12 (or XII, but that's kind of confusing because of the X series), an attempt to fix those problems.
Here's what I have so far. If you'd like to help out (as it's not done) please do. I'll mention you in the module comments, and where you helped.
I'm really just trying to improve, so if you have any helpful criticism like last time, please tell me.
Enjoy.

I'm listening to everything right now, but it seems MUCH more Megaman-y than first time around, great job

Did you read my critique about MM11? You really fixed many problems (as far as I've listened), congrats :D

But one thing that you might want to change: Don't call it "Megaman {Number}" because if that game might come out (or other projects are named the same), it might get confusing.
I'd name it like other fanprojects "Megaman Unlimited" or "Megaman TimeTangent" or something along those lines.

How about Megaman LL? ^^D

Alright, that went faster than I expected. Now to the individual tunes:

#1 Sounds good, fits what it's made for
#2 Sounds familiar, yet new. I love it
#3 Is heavily Megaman-inspired and it hits bullseye. It just has to loop and off it goes.
#4 All right, First robotmaster. You're pumping those out like nothing, do you? Respect, I like them
To the Tune: I like the variety and how it's built. The pacing is good, it's only a little short.
#7 Is really driving me forward. I LOVE the use of triangle toms and I think this will be one of the best tunes once it's finished.
#10 Awesome, you can grasp the atmosphere right out of the air. I like the downwards pitches you used, something I couldn't say in your MM11.
Only the last part sounds a little too unstructured and fast. maybe make the 16th-note passages shorter.
Generally a daceworthy tune that blendsdriving forward and sounding dark in one. In a good way.
#12 A little calm for a fight, I would personally wish for more jarring, harsh tones.
But there were bossfights that were even calmer (Megaman 6), so I'll let this pass.
Maybe make a few "Exploding Noises" if possible?
#13 No words. Classic. Captured 100%. You used the Masterball ^^
#14 As above. And I wanna dance!
#15 HELP! I can't enter the damn password because I wanna keep listening to this tune. SEND HELP ... AND FOOD!
#16 Makes me wanna say "Awwww Dammit, I hate bottomless pits >:1". Captures the feeling of your adventure coming to a screetching halt.

I was already wiggling in my chair, the expectaions for the Dr. Wily stages skyhigh, but I know that takes time. My profile pic awaits!
The Wily stages are ALWAYS my favourite part and I can't help but look forward to them, no matter how frustatingly hard they are in the game. Maybe that's the reason itself. Of course aside from the stunning music.

My wish would be that the first stages are energetic and driving while sounding a little intimitating simultaneouly, and the later stages are making you feel small and helpless in a world of powerful evil.
To the Wily Bosses - my favourite is the Yellow Devil tune. It just makes you say "OHFUCK!!OHFUCK!!OHFUCK!!" in an infinite loop until you die. And die. Again. Damn this yellow devil >_<""

As for the final boss . . . I don't know what to say, my vocabulary is used up at this point.
If it was possible (for that I'm no composer at all), I'd mix the feelings "DANCE!", "I'M SO DONE!" and "T H I S - I S - I T !!"

Looking back at your MM11, I couldn't really get myself to enjoy most of the tunes. With this new attempt, I think my MP3 has new tunes to be loaded!!!
Great work all around. Keep it up and make Dr. Wily proud

... I think I just broke the barrier of shit no one is ever going to read ...

EDIT: Huh, did the server just go down? I could't reach it for a couple of minuites ... oh well ...

wow that was fast. and noticable improvement right away. thanks for the twinkle envelope, that really helps the authenticity.

#2 - pulse 1 at the end: i like it, but not something i would expect in mm.

#4 - please don't repeat frames or patterns verbatim. vary it up even just a little. the second half is very good.

#7 and #10 - the beginnings sound almost the same. mm tracks start out strong with something unique that cathes your attention.

#10 - frame 04: the pitch slides don't remind me of mm, but it's not bad at all.

#12 - love it. not similar to mm boss fights but i think thats a good thing.

#15 - great job with this one.

the most important thing to make it sound authentic [aside from excessive triangle toms] is to use one pulse for the melody, and use the other to fulfill multiple roles [harmony, rhythm, chorus] even in the same measure. try using harmony at only important parts of the melody.

also i don't think the term OST applies, as it means official soundtrack. as in one that is produced by the people who own the game.

Alexander 283:
Thank you! Love your humor, couldn't stop LOLing. XD
Also, I'm now changing the name to Mega Man LL. For some reason, I never thought of that. :P
GEVEN:
Thanks for your advice! I really appreciate it, and I'll keep it in mind while revising old tunes and writing new tunes.
Also, it is now an album, not an OST. Thanks for pointing that out.
Here's an updated version. Some things are fixed up, but there are no more new songs, and song #7 is still unfinished (took out that annoying loop).
I really am running low on ideas, so if you'd like to contribute, please let me know. You don't have to, of course, just putting it out there.

I know that feeling of "What to do now?". Just relax for some time and then get back to work, it'll work out fine I think

I can't wait for Dr. Wily (like I already said), but since I've never had any musicial education, I just cover off notesheets :-/
So, aside from tips and constructive criticism, I'm about as useless as dehydrated food in the middle of the sahara.

But another thing: I've been playing around in FreeBASIC and - just for shits and giggles - trying to recreate the Megaman engine. The project lasted about half a month and was then put aside for drawing and Famitracker. Keep in mind that this right here is a buggy-as-hell and worse program than goat simulator ever dreamed to be!
I've put the last version as an attachment, maybe I could complete the engine and make a game accompaning your soundtrack ^^
Not too sure though since I'll start at "Fachhochschule" (Something similar to a University here in germany) and I've got a practice work ahed right now.

Slow progress. But it's progress.
Added a start to Echo Woman (might need to start again from scratch), finished final boss theme, as well as some other minute changes.

EDIT: WHUPS WHERE'S THE FTM here it is

Okay, listened it through.

Toxic Man - I like the edits on Pulse 2 you did, bit MrKyurem hit a better note. Also, his finished version isn't bad at all

Echo Woman - Reminds me of Splash Woman, just pitched down a little. Rather slow, but I really like it. It sounds very distinct ^^

Final Boss - ... huh ... uhm ... not *quite* what I expected. It's a lot less energetic and ... (I hate this word but I don't know any acronym right now) epic that I anticipated. It feels more like a mix of robot-master-level and normal boss. It's ok for a Wily Stage Boss, but Final Boss ... I'm trying to give positive critcism, but this theme -sadly- doesn't fit the final boss.

I'd suggest you give Megaman 4 Final Boss and Megaman 9 Final Boss a listen, those are great examples of energetic and frantic songs.
I'll just leave 8BitDanooct1's cover of MM9 here, "Wily Machine" is the track you might want to listen to

As always - great chiptune, but it doesn't always fit what it's intended for.

MrKyurem, those edits were not bad at all!
Just fix up a few things, change the final boss theme to something more intense, and...

Okay, I'll recap my thoughts about the new final boss in realtime:
Frame 00 - 01: YES! Oh god, THAT's what I call an impressive Intro!
Frame 02 - 03: WHAT? You made TRIANGLE TOMS sound intimidiating? Splendid! Go on, I LOVE IT ÔvÔ
Frame 04 - 05 Frantic Drums. Excellent! I'm out of words. That moment of silence - the end of 05 - my pants exploded!
Frame 06 - 09 Mh. The lead doesn't sound as serious as I hoped it to be - especially after such a MAGNIFICENT buildup. What I've gathered from final boss tunes is that they've got a slow and long, drawn-out lead while the background EXPLODES with frantic notes, explosive drums and a bassplayer with epilepsy that won't let go of his bass guitar.
Frame 10 . . . WHAT? Seriously, did you format something wrong? This sounds like it would fit for clown-man. A final Boss means full stress for the player - it's (supposed to be) the hardest boss in the game - what everything lead up to - the ultimate challenge. The music should be fluent and frantic at once. Sudden changes in style, speed or structure are going to catch the player off-guard and rip his focus to shreads. I personally would probably loose my rythm at this point.

Frame 11 - 14: Okay, this is a frantic passage I really like. The slow lead that comes in at Frame 13 sounds really good. I like this part. If it were this and a slower version of Frame 06 - 09, it would be perfectly fine.
Or even better: Leave Frame 06-09 and 11-14 and insert a slow, atmospheric part inbetween - kind of like Cave Story's Last Battle. You should give this one a listen, too

Frame 15: ... d'oh come on! >_<

I made some slight edits, but I won't touch the main melody since I would probaly ruin it.

Hope I could help

I really like the noise sweep at the beginning. Never thought of that!
Also those parts at frame 0A and 0F were inspired by the a part in the Mega Man III boss theme. I agree, it sounds better without it.
Making intimidating sounding music is hard. >.< You were a great help, though!
