Ok, so, first off, a long time ago (or, not so long ago) glitch_king made a cover of We're the robots utilizing sunsoft bass. He called it were the sunsofts. I was making every single song I downloaded into a swinging version (don't ask why) and this was one of them. I called it were_the_sunsofts_swingin_it.ftm, and it failed to save right. It just saved a blank file. And I just left it there, never opening it.
But that's not what this is about. I just downloaded astonostosson's Seagulls and listened once. Then, when I clicked on file, there it was: were_the_sunsofts_swingin_it.ftm. So I clicked it. And whad'ya know? The 2a03 parts only were saved from Seagulls into this file. This is seemingly really low priority right now, but if this ever happens for a file I WAS working on, then THAT would be a problem. I never pressed save, CTRL+S or anything while listening to seagulls, btw
EDIT: I hadn't looked at the whole list until now; There are several other files that I had not opened in months, sometimes years. This is less of a problem, though, as saving over files.
EDIT AGAIN: Well, half of these files won't even open, it just shows a blank screen (just the note editor and frame editor parts) and makes a light chittering sound, then displays an error. Even when opened manually through Explorer.

Well, those files that wont open, they were 0.4.2, and I was trying 0.4.2. And the first part, I saved a file and it never really saved, it just saved a blank file, but I opened it, after a long time, and it contained another files 2a03 parts only. The only real reason I think this is important, is because if I save a file, and it doesn't save, then that certainly isn't good. And, if FT saves over some random file that actually contained data, then that overwrites the previous data, which would be bad if it was a file I worked hard on, actually finished, etc.

Well, like I said, it's never happened to me before this, and it seems extremely odd for a program to save to a file-name completely different from the original file, in a different directory, of a different hard drive, but that's exactly what it did. But, I just hope that if it ever does happen again, it saves to a blank file I was too lazy to delete again. (I have a bunch of those.)
