[found in Famitracker v0.4.2, will check 0.4.3 in a moment...]

So I saw an option called 'Free Cursor' mode in Famitracker's configuration and experimented with it, discovering experimentally what it does (and that I generally prefer it off)....

However, there's one area where I would love to have it turned on: the Frame Editor.

When you double-click the Frame Editor, it switches to edit mode so you can input pattern IDs manually, right? This has definitely saved me some time when tweaking pattern IDs in songs, however, you must be careful to double-click the current frame only -- because whenever you click a different frame, FamiTracker scrolls the editor to that frame, so a doubleclick causes FamiTracker to scroll that distance twice. (Because click events generally fire before doubleclick events.)

Example: Say I'm on frame 13 and I doubleclick frame 17 (+4 frames down) because I want to edit its pattern IDs. The first click jumps my to 17 but the second click jumps me to 1B (a second +4 frames), and now it takes me a third click to jump back to 17 so I can make sure that I'm editing frame 17 and not something else by mistake. Having a Free Cursor option for the Frame Editor (either with or separate from the existing Free Cursor option) would avert this.

I agree that might be annoying. I'll look into making an option for the frame editor as well.

Thanks for your suggestion.
