Long time lurker, first time posting.
Been using FamiTracker for close to a year now. I have a bunch of covers to share here that I'll probably release periodically.
I'll also likely start entering BotB battles soon too as I want to move away from covers and get around to writing more original stuff.
Anyways, this .ftm was my spring break project. It includes covers of all 13 tracks from the original SNES F-Zero, which are more orchestral in comparison to later installments in the franchise.
Overall I'm pretty happy with these covers and look forward to posting more here.
I don't know the original songs so I won't talk on accuracy, but some of these sound really dissonant.
However, you seem to have good skills with the tracker already, so polish and improve them~~!
You still did a good job on these. :D
It's think it's cool to cover SNES songs on FT.

These all sound good! However, there is a mistake in VRC6 pulse 1 in the Opening Theme. At frame 02 and going into frame 03, some of the notes are played at wrong times. I provided a fix to show you what I mean. I also adjusted the tempo a little bit to better match the tempo of the original song.
wow, i was just last night thinking of doing an f-zero tune. now i have a basis to look at. i looked at big blue. i love the 0B guitar lead you've got. i added some note bends. in frame 24, think Bb minor.
were you going for authentic or your own version overall?
@Dr_Mustache:
As far as I could tell, the originals had a large amount of potentially dissonant notes, so I'm sure I missed a few. :P Thanks for the comments!
@VinylScratch:
Ah thank you. I felt something was off there but wasn't sure what.
@GEVEN:
Thanks! The note bends sound great. I was trying to stay true to the originals but didn't go for perfect, so I often swapped instruments or changed percussion, etc. :P
i really like your instrumentation here. i do hear the occasional dissonant note, but now that i think about it, when i was going to do a big blue cover i found that was just how it was on the snes versions of the tracks at times.
