My intentions with this were to make a medley of Famicom (JP NES, sure you know that by now) music, including at least one popular game from every year (1983-1994). I also don't want any series to repeat. I've already run out of games. :P Feel free to make any edits on this WIP, I'll include you in the credits in the module comments. I'll also include you if you give me some game ideas. I'm still growing up, so I'm not very familiar with the NES/Famicom games that were popular. Thanks, and have a nice day.
good job. its fun. but i think the smb and zelda are too literal.
Hmm, I think maybe the intent was to render the tunes reasonably faithfully. Apart from the various extra percussion and the wubwub in the beginning, the covers are more or less straight.

Sounds pretty good. If you're looking to expand it, the composers for assorted Famicom-era Konami and Capcom titles are a nice place to look. The Mega Man and Castlevania games of the time, notably, are accompanied by pretty sweet music.
To be honest, I don't think it works well as a medley. The transitions are never seamless; it feels like each bit might as well be its own track.
I've attached an old idea for a medley I cobbled together that only has two songs, both with only the melody so far. Nonetheless, it illustrates the principle: it starts with a bit of music from Monkey Island, then seamlessly transitions into Still Alive from Portal. (There may be some wrong notes. I never really double-checked it.)
If you're thinking "That's too hard!", well... yeah. That's why my medley only has two songs; I couldn't think of one to follow it up with.

Thank you! That will really help.

That's really cool! I see exactly what you're talking about. They sound like the same song. Given that I've never played Monkey Island or Portal, I could barely notice the transition.
