Hey-a guys! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here. Last time I brought "CAPITAL" here, which seemed to do quite well. Here's another, ahem, interesting track.

This one's got some wonky composition, but I think it's sound?
I'm hoping that somebody could give me some pointers as to how I could fix up this song's composition or melodies before I publish it anywhere else. I've left some parts as dissonant/slightly offputting on purpose, but if you think that any part is better left out or replaced, then please do say so. EDITs are always a pleasure to hear, too. But I'm not really expecting that much effort.

Thanks for your time, guys. Comments of any length and structure are fine.

this is an interesting composition, but it lacks in better instrumentation. v02 square isn't the most pleasant sound...

Whoa, interesting. Yeah that's something I had in mind but hadn't really been concerned with, I'll try to see about replacing some V02 sections with something else, as well as experimenting more with the instrumentation. Many thanks DjJizzer5!

really, i find v02 pulse the most pleasing and v00 the least. but there is a lot of 50% duty, maybe add some variety there. try adding some octave variety too.

i like the way you pass things from one instr to another like in frame 01.

Personally, I like V01/V03 better than 2, which I like better than 0. But still this song is pretty nice, especially when you get to Frame 0A.

EDIT: Love that ending, its so weird.

Hey thank you guys, I really do appreciate your input. The octave variety note was especially interesting--it's unfortunate that I hadn't seen that until I was already finished with the song.
Anyways, it is done now, so here 'tis. I haven't changed too much, but I might as well put this here since I published it.

I think Dj's note about V02 was good, because I did overuse it methinks, just as GEVEN said. In regard to the instruments switching over to different channels, I was experimenting with that. And it seems to have worked!
Thank you on the note about the ending, CheeseGuy99. I always love it when people can find their favorite little parts of any of my work. The ending might actually be what I base my next big project off of. It would make my track collection flow a bit better. (which can be found here)

This turned out really good. There are several awesome things about this song, mostly to do with how wierd and unconventional it it. Like the ending, where you seemed like you really didn't wanna stop there, but hesitated, the abruptness of frame 0B starting, all of it comes together just right to not be really weird and horrible, but instead be really weird merely to the point of being different, and it sounds great.

Hahaha I'm so glad to actually see somebody ELSE say that about my music. I feel like that's always been something I've strived for--a sense of originality, and weirdness, and unpredictability. Thanks for that comment, I feel really good about that now. <3

And dag Geven that sounds pretty crazy! It kinda scares me--but actually that's a good note. I think my songs are going to start transitioning into that sort of atmosphere, I have a feeling. So thanks for the example, I think I can use this sort of glitchy/rough/tearing texture in the future. <3

EDIT: oops. thank you Jrod86, I will. Definitely. :)

I really like how this has turned out, especially with the glitchy aspects. Such Glitchy aspects can be hard to put into a song but the randomness of this song was done vary well.
