Here is a cover with vocals of "The Dream will not End" from Tales of Phantasia. After posting a WIP a few months ago, here is the finished product. I hope the listen is worthwhile.
Pretty cool. Nice instrumentation. Though honestly the voice has a sort of creepy and depressing vibe to it, while the rest of the song seems more upbeat, which is confusing. Also, the voice is a bit off-sync, which is even more offputting. I respect the attempt, which I'm sure is difficult, but I'm not sure if you pulled off what you were going for. Still, good job on the actual tracking and melody composition.
The voice was ripped from the SNES rom. It's creepy depressing vibe may be due to the fact that it is being played back as 1-bit DPCM. My main issue with trying to get the instruments and lyrics to sync was trying to get Famitracker to track at the correct tempo. I still don't think I have the tempo perfect and it may not be possible to get it perfect. Thanks for compliments involving the other stuff.
