jsr has expressed his wish for this to be a support forum, not a large community. And to some point I can relate with that. It is easier to have a sane environment with people here for a purpose instead of inane shit all over the place. That's one thing to keep in mind while reading the rules.
I don't have a Wii U. Is it worth getting?

Well, that's a shame, because I think bringing people together by doing collaborations and other activities could make this forum a bit nicer, maybe...
But I do understand that this can't be too much of a social forum, but idk, I thought this would be a fun thing to do for once in a while...
If jsr or a moderator doesn't like this thread, then I have no problems if this thread gets locked.
About the Wii U, there's a nice offer going on atm. If you buy Mario Kart 8 now, you'll get to download an extra Wii U game for free. So if you're considering to buy a Wii U, I highly recommend buying one as soon as possible. If it's worth buying in general? I'll leave that to you to decide, but I would personally say yes. It's a solid system hardware-wise and the software library is starting to get better.

Last time I tried locking a thread because I considered it was out of place, I got reprimanded and the thread got reopened. So I guess enjoy your general discussion until greater powers decide otherwise.
My $0.02: I think a general talk section would actually benefit this forum greatly. But hey, I don't call the shots.

I wouldn't mind having a section for that, but only on the condition that it's used for actually useful and intelligent discussions. But given that this place attracts mostly kids (for reasons I don't understand), I doubt that. It would only mean more work for me.
Some off-topic content is allowed in this section though.

Well, these kind of sections usually (not all ways, but usually...) tend to be a little bit lighthearted or whatever word I should use. We're never going to completely get rid of dumb posts on the Internet, it's just never gonna happen.
But do as you feel like jsr, it's your website after all.
