Ok, so the forum seriously needs some more activision music, so I come.
pressure cooker was a game made for the Atari 2600 in 1982. it was programmed by garry kitchen (one of the great legends in game programming) and had a theme song by alex de meo, who went on to be the sound effects man for the company's games. the game is essentially a harder clone of data east's burger time.

in the gameplay video i found, your pulse2 seems to be what plays in the background? You titled it 'theme' so i imagine this is what plays on the title screen?
I couldn't find it, but what you've written certainly has a pleasant charm here.
It does play at the title screen, as heard in the midi submitted to vgmusic.com. I don't have a coppy of the game, though I am honred to own the rarer pitfall 2 cartridge on the same system (to which I was atracted by how it's ahead of what I thought the system could handel, it almost feels like an NES game to me).
