Just got through a fairly rough patch in our lives and I wanted to give her something to feel special. Wanted it to have kind of a "I just saved the princess" kind of feel. CC welcome =]

Impressive, but a bit slower-paced than I was expecting for "saved the princess". Heart-pounding from "the last battle", brain flooded with adrenaline, testosterone, etc. Instead I was picturing Eric Clapton playing at a small town bar. Nice job -- I know, I know, you were only pouring your heart into the song for the benefit of one person, and I'm sure you achieved that! "Shut up and track something yourself" would be an appropriate response to me, for sure.

Haha. I guess I meant "Just saved the princess, and are floating a way into the sunset while the credits roll". Thanks for the feedback.

Hello

cute indeed, it's funny i was picturing a band like Sum41 playing your song with big distorded chords and huge sound : )

Another thing : i played it a speed 6 and then at speed 5 and 4 and it sounds good , i found that the melody stands out better,it's a pop punk hit ( verse and chorus ) but that's just me.

By the way , did she liked it ?

Yeah, I agree. it sounds cool as a pop-punk song. The original speed is cool too though. Write some more parts to it dude, it will be awesome.

Yeah I can see how you would get a pop-punk vibe at faster tempo's. I just wanted it to sound more emotional, and almost comforting in a way I guess so that's why I stuck with the slower tempo. And yes, she liked it very much =]
