The first is Goron City from Ocarina of Time. This theme is heard inside the cave partway up Death Mountain Trail, home to the many Gorons in Ocarina of Time, known as Goron City. This 2A03 cover has been sitting on my computer for 2 weeks.
Originally, my second cover for this thread was going to be one of Ordon Village (MMC5), but I didn't like the way it sounded, and so I decided to completely scrap that and do a quick cover of Twilight from Twilight Princess. This theme is heard while Link is exploring Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru Provinces, trying to collect 15 Tears of Light to lift the blanket of Twilight and restore light to the weakened light spirits in their namesake provinces. The Tears of Light were stolen from the spirits by Shadow Beasts, which I tried to find sheet music to make a cover of their theme but found nothing.
The following users are required to give me their opinion, regardless of it being positive or negative:
Screw that, everyone is required to leave their opinion.
Any other users are welcome to leave their opinion but not required. I know this sounds demanding, but I value these people's opinions highly compared to other users (which I don't yet know their opinions' value).

Why did you bother posting something like this in a public forum where everyone can post comments?

I like how we are all REQUIRED to give our opinion.
I can't talk on accuracy. The 2A03 cover isn't too interesting and the other one seems a bit better.
That's it. You have over a thousand more users left who are required to give you their opinion. I think those are too little users so you might want to show this to more people out there.

guys, he's either really young or "mentally challenged" so I think you should cut him some slack on his constant social awkwardness and inability to respond appropriately.

The simplicity of Goron City is urking me to no end. Needs percussion, needs more touch and care as far as the bass goes, the signature beginning of the song is absent...eh, but it's 2A03. No matter what, I expect almost nothing from classic with Famitracker...not sure why. Don't let this one get to you...
As for Twilight...you know what? Massively inaccurate, but you really pulled off a damn good song feel here. Parts are missing, the tempo is a touch too fast, and you could have driven a distortion feel by having the notes super low volume and having an insane vibrato. If anything, this kind of style would somewhat fit the Twilight Realm towards the end of the game more than anything.

*Looks above* Uh-oh...think I went too far?

Wait a minute...I was part of a list of selected awesome users? For once...I was on a list with Rushjet1? Now I'm sad...guess I'll never be at Rushjet1 levels of 8-bit badassery...

Well, as much as I think it's awesome that I'm on a list with jrlepage, rushjet1, PaulMannIV, and BlueYoshi33866, it's kinda rude to everyone else...
But, since you demanded so nicely, I'll give you my opinion. I can only really talk accuracy on goron city, and I'd say it's pretty accurate. Both seem just a tad bit empty, but still, they're both pretty good.

Even though it seems to be true, I don't think that's a nice thing to say either way.
By the way, made a quick edit with drums.

Dammit Cheez, I'm 15.5 years old (turning 16 in October) and I'm in perfect mental health, I'm just shunned by most of society since preschool for 100's of reasons from which only 2 or 3 are valid...
I just make frequent SpongeBob references, and other meme references too.

Both covers were based on piano sheet music arranged by Rachel Bell [url=herbalcell.com/free-sheet-music] which can be found here
Due to the limitations of the piano, you can expect parts to be missing. I use this sheet music because I can't cover more than 2 notes by ear (in the same song, like G#2 and F-3 or A#1 and D-5 for example), that's how much I suck at covering by ear.
I also sometimes use sheet music from [url=ninsheetm.us] here
as well.
Also, I posted a reply with the fixed tempo a few posts down from the top. Go check that one and see if it's better.

I remove the list and required everyone to leave an opinion.
Also I hope jrlepage isn't viewing this thread, it might turn into the successor to the +1 clutter threads.
Then stop acting like a spaz who's never interacted with another human being, and shitting on people who are trying to give you a break. You don't act like someone in perfect mental health and you don't sound like a teenager either.
