I looked this song up here and found a few covers already posted with the most notable of which being IaTM's; after listening through it a few times I figured that I'd try my own. However, after having been absorbed in IaTM's for however long and having noticed that the majority of the notes were pretty spot-on I just ended up copying some of them into my .ftm of the song. Will/does this cause any sort of complications anywhere(breaking posting rules here, at the least), even if my the parts I took were modified and reorganized in a matter that's "drastically" different than the original (i.e original instrumentation)?

I ask out of politeness towards IaTM as well as to grasp a more firm understanding of the rules here (and in general, I guess).

Attached is the .ftm in question; ideas for improvement/help adjusting volume/general comments are also encouraged.

Haha. I personally think there's nothing wrong with using someone else's cover for something especially if it ends up being as heavily modified as this. Actually, since you went ahead and brought this back up, I went ahead and fixed frame 0F. All the frames that sound like this one (25 foe example) are supposed to have the slower rise instead of the rushed one I did the first time.

This has been bugging me for a while.

I had actually only listened to your cover before this, so I wouldn't have noticed. Thank you for the fix and response;my guilty conscious was getting the best of me.

Love this remix and the addition of the arp throughout the song.

Thanks; arps are great.

In a similar vein, I've been victim to secondhand Vocaloid (It's not firsthand, I swear.), so here's this. Short, inaccurate, and only half of a song yet still something I think is worth sharing for those who may like it.
