Wow, nice! I should say, though, that even if you did make a release macro in the instrument, you wouldn't need all those releases.

there is no keyboard shortcut to insert an empty row as far as I'm aware (or at least none that doesn't conflict with my screen reader) so I was forced to use extra releases.

I'm amazed you didn't know about using the arrow keys to move the cursor to different rows/columns by now.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3633]request a hardware render.

Yeah, and you can also just click where you want the cursor to be.

Easier said than done when you're blind (which kingcandy claims to be).

I had a problem using the aero keys. I was replacing the release instruments, and it messed up the entire song on me! youch!
and yes I'm blind. In 1995, my doctor made a fatal mistake during a DTP vaxene and I woke up blind the next day. WHy else would I be mentioning the fact that I use a screen reader?

Ouch, I feel sorry for that. Too bad.

I still find rather amazing that you can track music being blind. I didn't like these songs too much but at least you made them hearable, which is good (I mean, it doesn't sound dissonant, except maybe for some oddly placed notes).

I don't know how much accesibility you have to the tracker interface, so I won't criticize you in that aspect. I hope you can use the tracker's full capabilities someday, it would really be nice to see that.

Don't let your blindness stop you!

Ok, Now all we need are jaws scripts/window eyes scripts/apps/set files/nvda addons for FT. And No, I'm not going to resort to ppmck. I'm just learning to program in quarum, and mml, besides being very difficult to learn as a first language, is also not really popular here in the US.

You say that, but more and more members of this community are (and are becoming) proficient at it. Rushjet1, Xyz_39808, arfy (who is also blind), gyms, tadpole, and myself (to name but a few) are all proficient with both Famitracker and ppMCK. I'm probably the only one who uses both with equal ease and on a regular basis though.

Let's also not forget ionustron, a ppMCK legend (in my opinion), who is from the western world. To the best of my knowledge, he doesn't use trackers at all.

Wow, I completely read over that! I feel bad now. Well, in that case, you're doing tremendously awesome! And yeah, I'm not even entirely sure what ppMCK is, and mml seems crazy hard.

ppMCK is a compiler that translates MML to NSF directly.

Well the first thing to know is that there are many kinds of mml and ppMCK is only one dialect of mml.

But some mml meant for ppMCK looks like [url=http://mmlshare.com/tracks/view/507]THIS

That's pretty legible as far as ppMCK MML goes, actually.
