I've been working on this song for about a day or so... I don't know where to take it next.

It's a fairly simple song, so I just want to know-- should I add to it? How is it faring so far?

It sounds okay, but a little too retro..you know, the kind of retro song that you would hear in a game that doesn't quite know how to use the 2A03 chip.

What I think might help it exponentially is redoing the noise track..instead of having cymbals crashing on dotted notes like you do, perhaps get some low end noise in there as a sort of "kick", that might work as well.

Like maybe: Kick hihat hihat snare hihat hihat kick hihat hihat snare hihat hihat.

I updated your "lead" instrument to fade out a bit, and slowed down the song from 160bpm to 143 (I just think it works a little better)
