Allright, at least the FTMs are up now, I hope you enjoy!
I honestly haven't seen that many Pokémon covers that have got the sound right, so the point of this project is to help other Pokémon fans by giving them proper instruments (even though this is after all in Famitracker and not something like LSDj, Deflemask, XPMCK or whatever) and to help them to easier get into using Famitracker while covering something that they like. It can be a little confusing for someone who tries Famitracker for the first time (or any tracker at all), so giving these newcomers a hand might help them a lot and might make the experience of using trackers more enjoyable. That's one of the reasons why I'm doing this.
The other reason is to further prove that FDS is NOT the only solution when it comes to covering Game Boy songs with Famitracker in general, which irritates me a lot.

Note that this project is not meant to be like poodlecock's Sonic project where you can contribute your own modules, because I'd prefer to complete this project all by myself. I may sound very selfish for saying this, but that's what I want to do...
However, I guess I could accept requests since they might somehow help me with the project, because I want to create many different instruments and to also help other people to learn as much as possible. I'm not sure if I can accept anything outside Gen 1 & 2 soundtracks, but if you still feel like "This song must be in here!", feel free to post a comment.
Are you making sure to take into account the horrific volume balancing when only using one channel
Yes! But that's not what I'm doing atm.
Here's the thing, the N163 volume varies a lot on different NSF players. As you might know, if I want to listen to the songs in NSFPlay or real hardware, I probably have to use lower volume values (let's say 4, 2, 1 and 0). But then for something like foobar2000, the volume might be too low if I use the same values. I also think that IaTM has his own Famicom, but he uses values 14, 7, 3 and 0 (Please IaTM, please leave a comment if I'm wrong about this!!).
Since the difference is too big, there's no point of creating separate NSF files at this stage, so I personally think it's better for me to dedicate time on covering the songs and using only Famitracker for... mixing or whatever you wanna call it...
And there's another problem, I actually ran out of instruments! And right now, I'm actually using 2 separate FTM files, so that means that there would be way too much work if I'm editing 4-6 files at the same time. My plan is to cover at least most of the songs, after that I'm gonna create a separate FTM file where most of the songs will be in 900 BPM, so I can just copy-paste the output from NSFImporter. That way, I can easily change the volume for the Namco channel, plus I can create separate NSFs only for the volume, and not for the soundtrack + volume.
But yeah, I will tackle the issue with NSFs later. And also, if jrlpage could do these hardware recordings of the soundtrack, that would be amazing! <3

However, suggesting "short jingles" is a big NO!

I just think that posting an audio version of a cover is completely pointless, since you could just as easily upload the original audio instead. FTMs or NSF files is where it's at.

Like I said in the first post, I will upload the FTM files as soon as possible, hopefully tomorrow...

Sorry for the late reply, Warheart (I'm experiencing problems so I haven't been here in a long while. Yes, I do use the FamiTracker volume levels on my FC, but that's only because the Powerpak's NSF player (like most old ones) doesn't emulate the N163 mixing changes. I f I could get my hands on a TNS cart like jrlepage, I'd use the lower levels.
Also, these are good covers and I made NSFs of them to show people and baffle them with Pokemon on the NES.
Some other places I've tried to conquer:
