This was originally going to be for a Flash puzzle game, which was going to be posted on the website of the Game Core gaming convention. So in a way, this is real video game music. :D But, for some reason, Game Core changed their minds and never posted it. But I just got permission from my boss to put the music on the web, so you guys can at least enjoy it :3
There's a funny little story behind it, and I'd already typed it all up and everything... and then... the forum ate my post. >:( Bad forum! I'll probably still tell it if anybody's interested, but I'll have to do it later since I'm not in the mood anymore. ^^;
Heh heh, for a second, I thought it was gonna play a part of the song I made up in the Project Capcom NSF I uploaded(near the end of Song #4 Stage Music 02). Anyways, good work, definitely fits the puzzle theme. Too bad it wasn't used, would've been cool to hear a flash game with music using the 2a03.

The Flash game has been added to our company's website, but since it now has Island Officials branding instead of Game Core branding, I reworked it to give it an island motif, rather than stick with the original NES tune. You can play the game [url=http://www.islandofficials.com/iomoviegame]here, although currently the audio quality is, well, not very good, so I've also attached an OGG version so you can hear it as intended.
This is a really tidy tune...fits the mood and hah! just looked at the game link you posted; it's funny to hear that with an island theme on it. Both work really well. I prefer the island one but that's probably because it's paired with the visuals. It would be interesting to see the NES one paired with a NES style game
