I'm new to trackers and I used the tutorial, but there was a problem. The tutorial says to select Triangle, create an instrument, and click the Volume box. Done. The problem was then it then said "In the right field you see an 'Insert' button. Press it." But there was no Insert button, and no right field at all. Is this something wrong with my computer or am I missing something in the tutorial?
The tutorial was written for version 0.2.4, so you need to download that to follow the tutorial.
The current version has a new graphical sequence editor that I thought would be easier to use, just set the length in the scroll box and click the bigger field to draw the sequence. But you can still use the MML-field to insert sequences manually.
