Hi everyone.

I've never had any music lesson in my life (wish I did), yet I recently started to literally improvise on FamiTracker (requesting music has its costs -at least for me), since I've decided that the simple game I'm working on must have original, 8-bit music (I'm quite stubborn sometimes, even though I really don't know what I'm doing every time I launch FT).

Screenshots from my game:

So here I am, ready to humiliate myself.
The .ftm file here is a simple boss theme and it is supposed to play during, you'll never guess, boss battles.

PS: The "bavii_" in the title stands for Blast Attack VII, which is the name of the game I'm working on.

Very loud and repetitive. Also, the unusual pattern length makes it sound disjointed.

It does create an ominous atmosphere, but that's the only real positive I can come up with for this.

(Also, the screenshots do look nice, but the graphics look closer to 16/32-bit than 8-bit. 8-bit music in general won't match those graphics too well.)

I agree with you, but I honestly don't think that some casuals will care about that (or even have the knowledge of things like this). Some people don't even know the difference between NSF and GXSCC (which is btw sad).
