I'm very new to FT, looked for an answer and couldn't find one, so just a quick question
How do I make frames have unique notes? What I mean is that whenever I put it a note, it gets put in across all frames. How do I get that to stop?
I feel like there must be a way or there would be no point in even being able to have more than a single frame
Press Num+/Num- to change the pattern for the current frame ("Change all" causes all patterns of the frame to change if checked; otherwise only the pattern currently in focus to change).

Also, to get notes to stop, you need to use a note cut, or use the volume column to drop the volume to 0 (you'd then have to bring the volume back to the desired level afterwards, though).
Consult the FamiTracker help file for more details on note cuts & volume control, along with other possible effects you can use.
As for making a song stop once you reach the end of the last frame (preventing any repetition,) use the effect C00 in the effects column (C followed by two zeros).

You should maybe make more instruments and add channels.
But before you do that, you should silence the other instruments with note cut (not note release, because I made the same mistake) and then it should work the way you want it to.
Note cut will make the channel silent, note release triggers the release sequence in an instrument. Release sequences are anything after a '/' in an instrument sequence, and if there are no release sequences then the release command does nothing.
