After around 2 years, its finally here.

I poured my heart and soul into all of the songs on this OST, and i would greatly appreciate any comments on its, preferably ones that criticize.

some of the songs are in a 5 timescale for experimental reasons.

I also did not use a single DPCM. (as compared to my old ost which every song had a credulous amount of dpcm.)

-S1 is the oldest song in the OST, it has many edits that came at a later date.
-S2 was the final song of the ost to be finished. its gets much faster the second time around and sounds fantastic. this song also has gone through 5 major overhauls and was made purely of scraps that were modified.
-S3 made in 2 hours setting a record for me in terms of notes to time taken.
-S4 Meant to give a feeling of fear i think i failed miserably at doing such.
-S5 Originally a FDS song, had to be converted to VCR6, as a result it feels very weak.
-S6 Not the greatest, was originally meant to be a doodle, turned into a full fledged song.
-Final Stage A test to see how well i could pull off a 3,4,5, and 7 timescale.
-Boss Just a buncha notes.
-Final boss the most experimental track in the entire OST.
-Stage select Probably the most emotional track of the entire OST.
-Les go it does its job
-Theme of strength the only song in the entire ost where i attempted to mimic a style of composing. specifically that guy who did FF13.
-Ending sorta abrupt, but that was the intent.
-Credits Probably shoulda fleshed this out more but i saw not purpose.
-Continue My most effect heavy track.
-Stage select Dr. Originally was going to be S4 but decided to cut it short.
-Stage select final Another fleshed out doodle.
-Final confrontation meh
-wilfree 2nd song finished
-CYL meh.

Very amazing sound design. I'm mega jealous of your sound, but a lot of the notes/scales chosen seem odd and sometimes even random. Not all of them, but quite a few. Too bad, this could have been so much more solid. I can very much see the hard work you put into this and I appreciate it. You have amazing potential.

Yeah i can see how that can happen, i jump from 3 timescale to 4 and to 5 very often in a song. as for the note scales that i used, a majority of the songs are a singular note scale, but primarily they are harmonic rather than the typical version. the only song that doesn't really have an established key or switches from one key to another awkwardly would be the final boss theme. but the keys i wrote it in are definitely not the best for it and you are absolutely right. unless someone says you're wrong.

I agree that sometimes it seems random, but I liked the sound design. It has volume problems, mainly because you suddenly switch from a very quiet volume to a loud one.

Some of these songs remind me of classical music. You did a nice job but some things like the volume could be improved.

EDIT: Also, good to see you've improved after all these years.

Nobody is right or wrong. I'm just going with my instinct/perception on music. I am no pro when it comes to theory, so I couldn't even help you on that really, I just feel like some notes sound odd when mixed with others. Your timings are fine to me, they don't throw me off, it's really the blend of notes.

The sound and tunes in some of these songs are amazing! However, some of the songs are a bit random - they lack structure. I would have like to have seen some more, well, flow. Still, the music and sound design is still wonderful, and I enjoy listening to these on repeat as I play my collection of retro games. Fantastic job!

All the songs have solid instrumentation & the technique is great, but most of the songs don't have smooth transitions between frames & many push the limit of acceptable discord when you listen to them.

I find that the problem with smooth transitions between frames is in both the lack of melodic continuity between tracks & the amount of times your tempo/swing changes between frames. This said, you've managed to accomplish a mood setting for each song & it's mostly tolerable to the listener. All I can say is keep at it & try to improve on melodic continuity (that way, you can pull off a good amount of tempo variation & still maintain smooth transitions between frames).

I'll echo what everyone else said about discord, dynamics, randomness, and lack of melodic continuity throughout.

This is some nice work, and the sound design is gorgeous.
