Getting close to done on my album. This fulfills the "title with a four" and the "time sig with a six" positions.

Huge fan of your work. Can't wait to listen to the full album as a whole. As usual I love your sound design and how well it just flows smoothly. Great track man. The DPCM sounds really nice too.

Nice! I didn't understand a thing of the DPCM voice but the song is really good, as always.

Good! It's supposed to sound like it's on an old crappy radio. Anyways, just to fill you in:
"And now, Glenn Raymond with his new tune: Hello, My Four Leaf Clover"
*song*
"Thank you, Glenn."
Glenn Raymond just sounded like a 50s-ish popular musician.

great song, but may i ask why you chose 10 and 7 as a volume base when 7 is a prime number and 10 cant be split into a third? i'm curious.

This is the sort of stuff i always wished i could make, i just dont have the ability to make things feel jumpy.

1. I don't know what the numbers have to do with anything.
2. Don't worry, it'll come to you with practice. Use lots of note cuts, arpeggios, and octave jumps in the bass.

Let me explain. 7 cant be split into even fractions, which are easy for some effects using volume such as a single channel echo. using a prime number such as 7 makes it more difficult to have difinative fractions when composing. 3 6 or 12 are usually the volumes that make composing the easiest. but i can understand perfectly why one would not use them.

Hah, I see. Thanks for that.

Also, bomono, try working with just 2 or 3 volume values for every channel. That's hard to do.

Adding to the discussion, just do whatever works best for you. If you want to limit the effects you can use, fine, no one stops you. I think that balancing the volume in a song is more important than using default values such as 10, 8 or others.

I use F/D/C, A/8/7, and 6/2 mainly. It's not hard. That is, a song can be F - A - 6, but not F - C - 8 - 6 - 2.
