My first song is buried under my flash drive somewhere, which I have no idea where it is. So I remixed it from memory instead.

I'd actually say this is one of my best songs. Because all of my songs now start as one instrument and one instrument is added every 4 bars. My music style has been like now ever since I went on SoundCloud.

Well, compared to your newer... DJ-style borefest, I'd say this is very nice.

Just, control volume some more. Dynamics are like a naked mistress who you've brought to your house where you live with your wife. If you're too loud, your wife will catch you, and if you're too quiet, it's not fun, but it's still not fun if you keep a constant volume.

Hey, nice melody there! Sounds really nice but it really lacks more volume balance.

Reduce the volume of the pulses to something like 9 or A so the rest of the channels can stand out too.

Also:

Best quote February 2014. Made me burst in laughter.

I reduced the pulse volume, improved the looping, and added a swing.

I'd say that my new behavior of music is only appropriate in FL Studio or something.

I actually must say that the notation style reminds me of older NES titles, except your first upload has more than a volume issue.

I've noticed that you have some difficulty with adding smooth transitions between frames in your NES tracks because of a difficulty with adding variation in your patterns. Your new edit is an improvement from the first post, but I still don't find it as smooth-flowing as it can possibly be because you repeat certain patterns without making at least one minor change to steer the song to a different direction.

I hope the example here can help illustrate what I mean (sure; there's an example of better volume control, but note how most of the patterns change by the time you're half-way through the loop). There's a certain level of discord & harmony to try & keep it all ballanced, so it might help to listen to the track with a couple of channels muted as well.
