Getting a bit tired of sharing old ihavenoideawhatimdoing covers, so here's something a bit more recent (ca. a few weeks ago).
The remix is based on the MMX2 theme, and I added a little MMX at the end to ease the loopback. Not much else to say.

Loved it! Reminds me a bit of PaulmannIV, especially the percussion.
By the way that's the only thing I think this could do with some tweaking. The Snare noise seems to drown out the triangle bend, especailly with all this stuff going on.

Thanks! Hopefully as I get better my work becomes more evocative of people who are actually good at this stuff.

The triangle's definitely smothered because the piece is too busy. I wouldn't mind as much if it were the noise channel because I want the percussive stuff to be clear, but I think it's more the sawtooth bass that's doing it than anything else. Rebalancing everything else to a lower volume would probably help regardless...

Okay, I feel a little happy inside from reading this ^_^

One thing that has helped out with me is lowering the volumes of specific channels while keeping the focus on what must be kept. There'd only be a need for very slight balancing, as reducing the volume by two or three on a channel is typically enough to balance it all. I did enjoy listening to this, though, and as long as my time is spent listening to effort, I say it's time well spent.

Yeah, that makes sense. It's unfortunate because the bass is such a lively and prominent component of the music, so scaling it down would likely do more harm overall than good.
Just have to chalk it up to limitations of this particular set of design decisions.
