Is there any way I can change which MIDI channels are mapped to which NES channels? This thing is pretty awesome for my Misa Digital Tri-Bass, except that I don't see any options for shuffling channels around.

The MIDI channel order is the same as the order displayed in the pattern editor, there is no way to change that.

I haven't added support for it, that's all.

Is there no way to configure your MIDI device?

Not at all. The guy apparently went overboard with the Misa Digital Kitara and gave it too many options, which people complained about.

So when he made the Misa Digital Tri-Bass, he pretty much gave it no options saying "my aim has been to give the tri-bass no configuration options at all, to prevent the requirement of configuration at two ends which is messy, especially when sharing presets. A minimalistic interface with configurability at the sound module end is most effective."

Would you know of any applications I can use to pipe one MIDI channel into another?

There's a lot of tools that can intercept and reroute/translate midi signals. This is a good start: http://www.midiox.com/

If you want something very powerful/flexible, maybe: http://puredata.info/
