Working for about thirty minutes last night, I completed one of my favorite tunes from Gameboy Tetris, the name entry theme. I used to lose just so I could listen to it. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions on the triangle or noise channels, I'd love to hear them as I'm sure they could be tweaked to be better.
I don't hear problems with triangle and noise channels. Though, you have two-channels echo which is absolutely does not work, because instruments has no vibrato, no real attack phase, and melody also has no pauses at all.
What Shiru is saying basically is that the two channel echo does not really work because the two channels don't phase. When you have two of the same notes play at the same time with no effects on one of the channels they just get slightly louder or cancel out (going out of phase). Mega Man 3 music was a good example of how to deal with such a problem, you can do a fine pitch on one of the channels (chorusing) if the notes are the same. TSSF's notes that came with the Mega Man d/l also talk about this if you have that from back in December.
It's very good. The note placement is great - spot on!
However: two things.
1. Take Shiru's advice. Even vibrato with a setting of 1 and 1 works quite cherry. ^-^ You could also copy the square instrument and make it slightly off-pitch, but I don't recommend it.
2. I would also lower your main square's (on channel 1) volume to about (A). This makes it nice and fluffy and bring out the triangle wave nicely.
Otherwise, I am in Gameboy Heaven. (-_- )ahhhh

Excellent work on the song! Almost every note is hit perfectly! As already stated, the square needs vibrato. Also, space out the echo a bit, 5 spaces apart should work. And finally, listen to the noise channel again, to get the right hi-hat sound.
I tweaked the Module myself, to do this, and fixed the song a little bit. If you don't mind, I can upload the module, and you can compare it to the original version you made, without the modifications, to get a good idea on what to do. Don't worry, I'm not taking any credit for this, since this was your idea in the first place.

Pretty good but could use some tune-up. If you plan on doing all off the tracks, try including the 1.0 version TYPE B song. I used to lose on purpose just to listen to this song also. ^.^
Feel free to upload any updates you like, Linker. Like I said this was just a quick 30 minute project and I'd be more than happy to hear whatever suggestions and tweaks you can dish out.

Here's the tweaked version of the song. Sorry for the time it took.
May not be 100% perfect, but it's really close. Once again, you had everything set, just a few changes to the notes, vibrato, and volume.
