Alright, this is Lemadman. I haven't introduced myself properly yet, so: I live in Australia, and spend a great deal (AKA all) of my spare time composing or listening to music, especially VGM. I've been interested in music for a bit over three months now, and using Famitracker for two.

I just thought I would post the songs I've made, which have been developed for an imaginary game (Shroomer). They probably aren't great by the standards of the NES wizards on this site, but I don't mind them. The first file contains my longer, better music, listed from best to mediocre, while the second file contains songs I didn't appreciate enough to develop further. Not that they're bad, I just didn't work on them enough.
And if I've copied any tunes from anywhere, then that was a complete accident. Please, feel free to notify me if this is true.
One more thing. Is using the VRC7 chip considered cheating? Because the sounds are like, really realistic.

Anyway, I really dig this. First off, VRC7 is not cheating, in anyway.
There are some really cool FM instruments you've made here, which really impresses me! I like a couple of these songs, and I might try to remix them sometime.
Oddly enough I think that you might benefit from trying something new, like a sample tracker, like modplug or something more similar to this, like an AdLib tracker! (Faust Music Creator)
I think you could really do well in those kinds of programs.
And like I said, I'll try and remember to write a little review of these songs

I've looked into a few of these programs, Adlib Tracker 2 and Faust Music Creator. Unfortunately, both bring up a message telling me I have the wrong version of Windows, or something. Could you help?

This is some pretty good stuff! This makes me actually want to read up on VRC7 and try my hands at it. I really hate trying to figure out what all those sliders do.
Thanks a heap, Zaalan3! I actually have DosBox already, I downloaded it with Arena and Daggerfall. And with the sliders? I have no idea what they do either. I just played around with them until I got the sound I wanted. If any of my instruments tickle your fancy, feel free to use them.

I need to redownload Daggerfall. I use to have have it, then my motherboard went on the frizz and I had to get a new computer luckily I got a discount for being an idiot
