I recreated Goldenrod City from Pokemon G/S/C and Flash in the Dark from MM9 before this, then I made this as an original piece, so, this is my third piece working with FamiTracker. It's just a simple loop kind of deal, and I know most of you have loads more skill than I do with this program, so I'm posting it here in hopes for some suggestions on how I can improve, not only song-wise, but instrumental, as well.

Thanks a ton!

You'd better to use special instruments for the triangle channel, which will have only 15 and 0 in the volume sequences, and not to use these instruments for the square channels. This way you'll be sure how long your triangle instruments are, and you will have possibility to tweak the durations without affecting to other channels.

I didn't liked how the parts are connected together (brigdes are lacking), and drums - they do not define the rhythm. To make the rhythm stronger you need to accent strong and/or weak beats (using kick or snare). Making the hats less mechanical could help to, try to define some rhythmic pattern using different volumes. Too strong vibrato on some notes and lack of the vibrato on other ones sounds not very interesting too.

I originally had a 0 volume instrument with the triangle channel (it's listed as "stop" in the instrument list), but I opted for the duration break because it was the first time I figured out how to utilize it. I could notice a lag in the tempo, but I didn't know it was because of the tool, I thought it was just because I had a slow computer, haha.

Thank you for the very honest criticism. Drum parts aren't exactly my forte, but I understand what you're saying. I'll try and improve on those especially on later pieces.

By the way, I uploaded the version with the instrument breaks on this post and the first one.

Using one drums pattern for the whole song is not really good. Also I think you should increase the volume of noise channel a bit.
But other than that, I should say that I like the song Keep up the good work!
