I'm guessing that you're good at manually extracting important information from samples? It sounds pretty much just like the original. Sample interpolation could be handled a little bit better (samples have a little bit of self-aliasing nonsense in them that could be reduced to avoid multiplying the N163's sample aliasing), but overall I'm stunned by how close it sounds.

Parts of this almost sound like if you took the original tune and played it at a low sample rate. (Edit: like if you went into Audacity with an MP3/WAV rip and set the project rate to 8000 Khz.)

This honestly sounds like a "what if FF7 were on the GBA?" concept-- it really sounds like a GBA song right down to the squares also being there
