It's about time I posted my original songs. Most of them are either repetitive, too short or just loops.

I was actually considering putting it on the doodle thread, but I really need some tips on making music.

Okay, remix and expand these songs if you will.

I don't have much to say about the songs. They are not bad but are too repetitive or short, as you said.

I can't really give many tips on making music, but I'd recommend you let each melody develop in your mind before trying to track it. This way you will be sure about how to make the song and you might also have a solid melody planned.

Otherwise, just do whatever works good for you. Practice a lot and let the songs develop a lot so you can track them better. Just make sure you don't forget them, so write a template once in a while and then work the rest of the song from there.

Chord sequences may be the first thing you want to make sure you have before composing the rest of the song, but if a great melody pops up, track it and adapt it to a chord sequence.

I hope some of this was useful, I would like to see you get better at composing.

The usage of the megaman instrumentation wasn't accurate. The percussion was at the wrong pitches, firstly. Not sure about the other things (excuse me for being the only one not massively knowledgeable on megaman's instrumentation).

And follin_originals didn't sound anything like follin's music. It didn't have dat stronk funk like follin's stuff. The bass has to take no shit from no one. This bass is gobblin' all it's bandmates' cocks and ideals like cold turkey. Really, you just took generic "follin-style!!!!!!!!!!!" instruments and called it follin-style.

Also, very repetitive. Also, very repetitive.
