I was messing around one cold winter's eve in the little known webspace of Youtube, when I stumbled across the magical world of NES music. Like a small child in the snowy fields of Narnia, I swiftly learnt of (and downloaded) the key to it all - Famitracker. Having spent a whole school year of procrastination messing around with GarageBand, I picked the whole music thing up fairly quickly. Thus, when issued with a Multimedia assignment early this term (I was told to make a game), I utilized this wonderful software to create my own soundtrack. Here it be - my first post, and my first soundtrack.
I'd also like to request a favor. If anyone sufficiently experienced should happen upon this humble post, could you please remix (or remake, or update, or something) one of the songs? Then I would be able to quickly draw comparisons between my amateurish creations and those of a master.

Well I checked out your soundtrack and the stages seemed very simple and a little bland to me. Some intonation with the melodies as well.
After that though it gets to be pretty good! You start using all the channel available and you have a nice full sound to it. I liked the final boss music : )
I did edit one song, I have a somewhat strange style and I thought it fit well with this piece. Enjoy~

I edited the Stage Select theme to be a bit more lively (I really liked it's main melody)I may do some edits on more of this soundtrack, hopefully this helps give you a bit more direction. Have fun making that game

Thank you for all the feedback on this particular track. I will definitely take everything into consideration - I intend to post a remade/expanded version within the month. Of course, still feel free to remix or criticise the music if you wish - anything will help with the project.
As for the remixes, I intend to incorporate a little bit of their unique flavour into the final project. They both possess a splendid originality that I greatly appreciate. Also, they greatly helped with my progress in multi-channel music, which I found difficult before.
