So here's the deal.
I've got a Super Mario Bros. hack project named Mario Gaiden, which uses the VRC7 chip and has a [b]fully-functional VRC7 music system[/b] in construction, which has been quite successful.
However I'm not that good at VRC7 composing. (The attached file is one of my covers, which I think needs improving.) I got a crapped rank in FCM9 with another VRC7 cover, although I think my rank should be a bit higher.
I have to stick to VRC7 because it's too late to switch to another mapper now.
So. If you are good at VRC7 composing, you can consider joining my project.
You won't benefit from it, however you will definitely get credited even for a single tune.
(8-bit style tunes are also ok as I will get to use them on specific occasions, same with 8-bit tunes with a few VRC7 channels)
What you need to do: Just do the composing in FamiTracker. However, due to the existance of lag in actual gaming, composing may be restricted in various ways for certain tunes.
(If ignoring lag, the composing is quite free. One of the drawbacks is that the space of DPCM samples is rather limited.)

Wow this sounds really cool, I've always wanted to make music for a ROM hack not my own... and what a great opportunity this could be, especially since VRC7 is my fav expansion when it comes to originals. I'm nothing special though, so here's a few songs, if they're any good I'll be here if you'd like and I'd be fine converting songs written in Famitracker to Hex for the hack as well if I have access to reference data on how you designed sequence data :D

The main work in this game is cover but not compo. Although original tunes are also welcome.
Also note that the game has a somewhat late-medieval setting, so tone colours which sounds 'modern'(I don't know how to describe this) shouldn't appear frequently.
My FTM is a cover tune, and I think it's not good enough.
