FamiTracker
When my laptop died, I gave up. I had no computer to use FamiTracker on... (I did ,but... I don't want to sit on a loft, freezing and making music...) But we had this old XP downstairs and suprisingly, it handles FamiTracker pretty well...
And that's the reason I suddenly vanished... But now I'm back. (I guess...)
Anyway...
This is my second atempt at making my original song/melody good... A little cheesy but... mah. Quite happy with the intro.
[The first original is on the laptop... which means that I'll maybe never hear it again... ;_;]
Also, the instrument echo version has echo on most of the N163 instruments... (Actually, it's virtual delay... but, mah.)
Good as always Zamual. I really like the song, its sound design, the instruments and the melody. While it is pretty short, it still is great and I think that this sounds really powerful at the beginning, and then it develops into the main melody.
The instruments are great and I love the DPCM bass. I didn't notice it at first but then I muted channels to analyze the whole song a bit deeper and I found it, along with a ton of other instruments, especially in the Namco channels (those sound really great, it feels like you managed to use the chip's full capabilities).
It's kinda sad what happened to that other song you talked about. Making an original and then losing it because the laptop broke is awful (and trust me, I've experienced this with bigger things). Well, I hope there's a way to recover it, and if you do, you may post it here so we can hear it!
Uh, can I ask, what's the Modplug random song title generator and where can I find it? [Inside the program I guess but I didn't see it anywhere]

By the way, nice song. Instrumentation could be better (people are really lazy with the N163, aren't they?), but other than that, very nice.

One more thing about the song, why the funky frame order? It's like... it starts at 00, advances a little and then jumps almost to the end, then goes back and the song ends in the last one. Still, the song is great, I love it.

Well, it was neccesary...
I added more on the song after the main "poweful" part, because the "powerful" part happened too sudden, so I had to make it more "realistic"...
